About 2 years ago, I was given the opportunity to thoroughly review the Tronsmart Element Mega, one of Tronsmart's Flagship Bluetooth Speakers back then. It was such an amazing speakers that I actually gotten myself another one just to experience its True Wireless Stereo (TWS) feature.
For many years, I've known Tronsmart for their exceptional ability in their production of battery related gadgets ie Powerbanks, Chargers, etc. But today, Tronsmart has come a long way in production of Audio Equipments from High Quality to High Fidelity Audio Enthusiasts Quality today.
This round, I'll be sharing about the Tronsmart Element T6 Max with SoundPulse Technology.

After Approximately 2 Weeks of Thorough Testing, Here Are My Findings :
Form Factor
If you've ever seen the Tronsmart Element T6 before, this is like the Tronsmart Element T6 on Steroids. Upgraded, Enhanced, Much Bigger, Much Better, Much More Powerful. Well, size DOES matter!
Weighting at around 2 kilograms, the speaker is slightly on the heavier side. Albeit the weight, it is actually compact and portable to carry around with bundled storage pouch. Its build quality is Excellent with highly durable Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene as housing material. The Tronsmart Element T6 Max is meticulously crafted in premium aluminium alloy and fabric finished speaker grill which also houses a whooping 4 tweeters and 1 woofer, plus the custom-designed array of 8 passive radiator all within the Tronsmart Element T6 Max. It is definitely minimalist yet stylish in design.
Power
Tronsmart being one of the top producers of high quality Power Banks and batteries in the world, has allow them to incorporate the same technology into their audio equipments as well. On a pretty loud 50% volume level, a single charge will can provide around 20 hours of playback time, while on over 70% volume which I do use sometimes when I'm watching movies on my phone, it allows for a little over 3 movies before the speaker starts to show any sign of a charge is needed. Due to the larger battery, charging time is also a little longer than some of the small speakers. It is advised to charge this baby with a higher quality USB charger rather than those cheap low wattage and voltage ones. A cheap low power charger may not properly charge the device.
Usage
At the top of the Tronsmart Element T6 Max, there is a simple and intuitive touch panel with integrated lighting where all navigation buttons are located. The integrated lighting will go off after 30 seconds of inactivity. Simply tap it to bring the backlight back again.
On the bottom back of the speakers are the USB-C port, DC input, AUX input and power button with cover.
Connection is simple. Simply power it on, find Tronsmart Element T6 Max on our phone or computer, and click connect. It's that simple.
Unlike the Tronsmart Element Mega that I have, the Tronsmart Element T6 Max does not have any micro SD slot. This means, there is no built-in MP3 / WMA player. As for usage with calls, the Tronsmart Element T6 Max is loud and clear.
T6 Max is loaded with IPX5 water-resistant. No worry about getting wet with splashes and sprays. It can easily withstand sprays from sitting next to the sink, the pool, or the shower even though the black fabric may get wet.
Connectivity
There are 2 connectivity options available, Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC pairing and the oldie worldie AUX In connection for non wireless devices.
Having Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC pairing allows the two technologies can work together to create even better connectivity between wireless devices. The NFC connects devices quickly and then sends a signal to the Bluetooth that allows the devices to move further apart while staying connected and avoiding the dreaded “Searching for a device” message. Bluetooth 5.0 Range is outstanding even in between walls. Audio and Video are always well synchronized with no noticeable latency delay. This is great for watching movies, MVs or also my piano videos where my fingers should always be in sync with the audio. Bravissimo!
Sound Quality
The Bass and Depth of the Tronsmart Element T6 Max is quite a major upgrade from all its predecessors. The placement of the speakers, tweeters and radiators within the Tronsmart Element T6 Max allows it to radiate a 360 degree balanced, detailed and wide-range surround sound audio to every different corners of the room and the very same feature also makes it a great outdoor speaker.
In addition to that, the Tronsmart Element T6 Max features their latest SoundPulse Technology. Ordinary speakers typically have sound defects, or harmonic distortions, within a certain frequency range. Tronsmart SoundPulse™ technology is able to counteract sound defects by eliminating any harsh noise; this makes the vocals more gentle, the sound richer, and allows us to enjoy our music for a longer period of time.
Besides the amazing SoundPulse technology, The Tronsmart Element T6 Max comes equipped with 3 equalizer audio modes - Balanced, 3D and Deep Bass.
Balanced is warm and gentle, suitable for long hours listening to music. Balanced audio effect is the default setting when you turn on the speaker.
3D is super suitable when we're watching movies. It creates the big space environment as if we are watching movies in the cinema. This is even better with the TWS, for two speakers setup.
Deep Bass mode is good for clubbing, EDM, or dance songs. Good for parties, outdoors or indoors where Bass and Atmosphere is more important than pure sound quality.
I would strongly prefer if there is an indicator of which sound mode is the current sound mode because with this setup, we have to always guess it. Apart from that, it's almost a perfect Bluetooth Speaker.
