I'm writing this to express my gratitude and satisfaction towards the amazing exceed expectation service rendered by Viny Lee and Mandy Wong from CY Baby Studio.
About 3 weeks after our baby Zac Mak was born, my wife wanted to take newborn pictures of our baby. There were many photo studios of various price ranges and they were all very attractive. While my wife was surfing the Internet, she stumbled upon an advertisement on Fave where CY Baby Studio was having a special promotion and the price was really attractive. We immediately made the purchase on Fave.
However, during the weeks when we wanted to visit the studio, there was an outbreak of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) in many parts of Klang Valley particularly Petaling Jaya and CY Baby Studio happen to be located within the Petaling Jaya District. It's a highly contagious viral infection which affects everyone, kids in particular.
Being very careful, we waited patiently for the epidemic to settle down a little before calling CY Baby Studio. When we first tried to call the studio, there were no answer, Viny and Mandy were busy with their work at the studio. So I used WhatsApp. Viny replied and we scheduled an appointment almost at the end of our coupon period. In spite of their already full schedules, we were very lucky that they specially made an exception and scheduled us a photography session at our convenience, I believe they have sacrificed their lunch time.
Upon arrival, there were one other couple with a twin baby taking pictures too. It's a beautiful and cozy environment, they just moved to PJ not long ago and parts of the house was still under renovation. They offer many beautiful picture props and man made mini environment for gorgeous pictures. Apart from that, they also use very high quality LED lighting that are gentle on babies' eyes. Mandy and Viny ran through their services to us in detail and patiently.
Unfortunately, during that day, our baby didn't get good sleep the day before, he was pretty grumpy and upset. We spent a few hours there having Mandy trying to take good pictures for him and professionally baby sitting and assisting him each time he cries. We tried hard but in vain, baby kept crying. Viny and Mandy were generous enough to offer us another time slot, this time sacrificing their Hari Raya Haji holiday to take picture for our baby again.
Today was the day, we went again. Mandy purposely came just to render her professional service. Baby had enough sleep, he was happy. We also manage to park inside the house. The entire process was smooth. I believe the pictures are great too. Even though our business was just part of the Fave coupon. With Fave, they are able to get some exposure, but at the expense of profit margins. Even with such scenario, they still went above and beyond exceeding all expectations.
Note : Although we are not supposed to take picture when photographers are taking pictures for our baby. Abby's auntie didn't know and she managed to take two pictures of Mandy taking picture of our baby. It's just some low quality WhatsApp compressed picture, no copyright infringement intended.
