GearBest - My Experience

I'm also writing a review on my recent purchase here. It's a very high quality Mactrem Carlsbad 62.5 inches series Lightweight Aluminium Alloy Camera Tripod from Mactrem Gear. Mactrem is one of the leading manufacturers of camera tripods, or basically everything with legs. I love it so much and GearBest has made it very easy for people to buy it at very good prices.

My old camera tripod is already over 12 years of age. In desperate measures to find a good tripod, I've looked into different tripods with good value for money. Tripod material is very high quality. Movements are fluid yet sturdy.

These latches on the side of all 3 legs are used for opening, and closing, and adjusting the legs. Push in to lock, pull out to move.

Movement of the legs are flexible and fluid, I could move it to which ever angle that I wish and the latches allow me to lock it / them right there.

When the tripod's legs are fully extended, it can actually be quite tall.

This was MOST IMPORTANT for me because in the past, I used to push all my chairs together to put my old tripod when I needed to shoot my face and my piano together. But now with this height, I just need this tripod alone. It's sturdy even at very high angle and when legs are put pretty closely together.

Another most important feature is the flexible universal ball head that allows me to position my camera in basically any angle that I need to shoot rather than moving the legs around. Which brings us to the two pictures below.

The universal ball head of the tripod gives users an opportunity to obtain maximum precision, in turn, reduce any accidental camera damage. 2016 YouTube Earnings Badly Hit

2016 started pretty badly for a lot of businesses worldwide and YouTuber's YouTube Earnings have no escape from this. For those who are actively earning an income from YouTube's Adsense, you'll see a 60 to 70 percent drop since January 1st 2016. Don't be surprised as companies are cutting on their advertising budgets, moreover it's only the beginning of the year.

Apart from that, World Bank has also slashed global growth rate for year 2016. Therefore, a tip for those who are surviving solely on Adsense, look into things like Influencer Marketing. Being on YouTube means that you have a certain power of influence over your fans. There are companies out there that help YouTubers pitch for advertisements and these jobs can be really rewarding for both YouTubers and Advertisers. It's Win Win.

World's Best Shaker Bottle - PROMiXX Vortex

I personally love protein and green shakes, but a lot of these shakes do not mix well especially in cold water. I'm not sure about you, but I usually make my shakes using milk or cold water, and they always turn out clumped together.

Pianoforte School Of Music - Concert Just For You 25

This year, 2014, my Alma Mater, Pianoforte School of Music has just celebrated her 25th birthday by having a grand concert at KLPac Sentul. This is the fifth grand concert organized by Pianoforte.

The Concert Just For You 25

I've been fortunate enough to be part of Pianoforte since January 1991 (OMGASH I'M SO FREAKING OLD). Even fortunate to be part of almost every Concert Just For You, except for the third one when I was back in the United States.

During the forth Concert Just For You 4 at KLCC Convention Center, I was invited to perform cover versions of all songs performed during the concert together with my buddy Joe Ho Kah Hoe. Pray for MH17 #mh17

We just received another bad news from Malaysian Airlines :

Malaysia Airlines said via its Twitter feed: "Malaysia Airlines has lost contact of MH17 from Amsterdam. The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace. More details to follow."

The Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko said 280 passengers and 15 crew were on board with a total of 295 people. MH17 was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, apparently crashed near the town of Snizhe, according to a report from Interfax news agency which could not immediately be confirmed. Other reports suggested it had crashed close to the nearby town of Torez.

Malaysian Plane Shot Down Over Ukraine

It's been a tough year for Malaysia with all bad news going international, especially on transportation, be it air or ground, ranging from Malaysian Airlines, MRT, to Kiki.

We just received a devastating news from Reuters as at July 17th 2014 that a Malaysian passenger plane carrying 295 people to Amsterdam was shot down with a BUK ground to air missile over Ukraine, which is believed to be carried out by Ukrainian rebels.

The report has not been confirmed as at this hour, but let's pray that we will not have another MH370. #prayformh

CDM25 Aftermath - An Important Lesson

Anything that goes on the Internet cannot be fully taken down. New videos, pictures, and blog posts have been sprouting in almost every corner of the Internet on this issue. In less than 24 hours, the original footage has been copied and posted over and over again and now even with parodies, remixes, hip hops, and songs creatively produced by Malaysians. #cdm25 is quickly becoming one of the top hastag on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Now that #kikikamaruddin and #cdm25 have become an Internet Meme. Let this incident be an important lesson to us that we should think before we leap, especially in public.

Anyway, in Malaysia, this incident will very soon be forgotten as soon as something more interesting happens. The meme will end. Just like MH370.

Bukit Bintang Sinkhole - Times Square

I was stuck in jam for almost 3 hours today with exploding bladders. I passed by an area in Bukit Bintang next to Berjaya Times Square and saw many people gathering around and area busy snapping pictures and cars stopping to see. So this is what happened...

If an entire road can collapse just like this, imagine the buildings and public transportation. This is one of our major access roads and supposed to be a very busy tourist area too. The sinkhole is 10 meters deep, very wide and just 20 meters from the "elevated" monorail tracks. The tracks cracked too. I'm shocked.
