Hi Friends!
Early this month, I got the opportunity to chat with Dato Joey Yap Live on his new #ForgedInFire Series and it was truly an honor and I get to learn a lot. So I told myself, I must get some of my friends up too so we can all learn from each other because they are all really amazing and truly gifted in their field of work. I'm so happy to get four of my super talented friends (also people that I personally look up to, they may not know I'm their Superfan) Dan Khoo, Ernest Ng, Justin LMK and Mel Vinegar to join me in another Live #ForgedInFire series tomorrow : Date : April 30th 2020 Day : Thursday Time : 11am (Morning) Streaming on : https://www.facebook.com/datojoeyyap/ https://www.youtube.com/joeyyap This episode is called Impact Creators (Wahhh, really Macam Yes!) I look forward to a good episode. Thank you so much for your support. Ray Mak I'll be performing at Kuala Lumpur City Center on January 24th Sunday morning and I needed a background for the song that I was performing, The Hero - One Punch Man.
Thankfully, I was visiting my close friend, Warren Lee from KL Gadget Guy AKA KL Gadget TV to go to MorningWoodMY for a music event at night. One of his partners, Alicia Mak (OMG SAME SURNAME) offered to help me design the background. Here it is! So beautiful!! Thank you very much Alicia Mak and Warren Lee and most importantly www.klgadgetguy.com Be sure to check them out on YouTube too. KL Gadget TV 2016 started pretty badly for a lot of businesses worldwide and YouTuber's YouTube Earnings have no escape from this. For those who are actively earning an income from YouTube's Adsense, you'll see a 60 to 70 percent drop since January 1st 2016. Don't be surprised as companies are cutting on their advertising budgets, moreover it's only the beginning of the year.
Apart from that, World Bank has also slashed global growth rate for year 2016. Therefore, a tip for those who are surviving solely on Adsense, look into things like Influencer Marketing. Being on YouTube means that you have a certain power of influence over your fans. There are companies out there that help YouTubers pitch for advertisements and these jobs can be really rewarding for both YouTubers and Advertisers. It's Win Win. In Malaysia, I recommend a great upcoming Influencer Market Platform called SushiVid. Their Website is http://www.sushivid.com It's a simple platform where you can register your YouTube account to and the platform will be able to draw your YouTube Statistics for potential advertisers similar to websites such as VidStats and SocialBlade. Malaysia is a fast growing country for the YouTube community with countless of opportunities flying around. Do stay strong and cruise through 2016 with confidence. I personally love protein and green shakes, but a lot of these shakes do not mix well especially in cold water. I'm not sure about you, but I usually make my shakes using milk or cold water, and they always turn out clumped together.
My good friend Han has brought in a very limited supply of these PROMiXX Vortex Shaker Bottles to Malaysia. I bought one from him. No more lumpy shakes, my shakes just blends smoothly perfectly. Just sharing it with you guys, I don't do this for money. If you like what you see, just call or whatsApp my friend Han at +60192277225 . This year, 2014, my Alma Mater, Pianoforte School of Music has just celebrated her 25th birthday by having a grand concert at KLPac Sentul. This is the fifth grand concert organized by Pianoforte. The Concert Just For You 25 I've been fortunate enough to be part of Pianoforte since January 1991 (OMGASH I'M SO FREAKING OLD). Even fortunate to be part of almost every Concert Just For You, except for the third one when I was back in the United States. During the forth Concert Just For You 4 at KLCC Convention Center, I was invited to perform cover versions of all songs performed during the concert together with my buddy Joe Ho Kah Hoe. Video is on YouTube. Please click here for the video. As well as Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. Please click here for the video. Historically, further back down the road, I have performance Flight of The Bumble Bee with Joe Ho during the second Concert Just For You. Subsequently, during the First Ever concert, I performed First Love by Utada Hikaru. Please click here for the video. This year, I was invited as the Judge for the Music Competition on August 22, Friday, as well as guest performer during the concert itself. I did perform for half an hour as a judge too. Video will be released soon. SNEAK PEEK HERE. Here are some of my pictures during August 22nd, the day I was a Music Judge and Performer : Here are some pictures of the Actual Day of Pianoforte's Concert Just For You 25 on August 23rd (Note : I didn't take a lot of pictures on the actual day as I was a KULI as well as PERFORMER, YENG LEH!) : Hi Brothers and Sisters,

I'll be writing a different version for KLGadgetGuy. I don't wanna waste this one as I took a few hours writing it. LOL! Link to video in KLGadgetGuy YouTube coming soon. Overview and First Impression I've been a New iPad, also known as iPad 3, user for over 2 years now. I’ve also used and experienced my Aunt’s older Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as well as my good friend, Agnes Chan’s newer Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has given me a refreshing experience with improvements from its predecessors from Design, Display Quality, Performance, to User Experience. It is certainly a good choice for general usage and multimedia entertainment. Design I really love the design of this tablet. It looks and feel solid with metal frame. The back cover with leather feel greatly enhances the appearance and touch sensation of the tablet. The screen appears wider with narrower sides compared to its predecessors. It is also slightly thinner. Hardware Specifications REVIEWED MODEL : Samsung SM-T535 (Black), Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE, with support for GSM voice communication, SMS, and MMS. Note : Non LTE Version = Samsung SM-T530 GENERAL 2G Network : GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network : HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 4G Network : LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 SIM : Micro-SIM Announced : April 2014 Released : June 2014 BODY Dimensions : 243.4 x 176.4 x 8 mm (9.58 x 6.94 x 0.31 in) Weight : 487 g (1.07 lb) DISPLAY Type : TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors Size : 1280 x 800 pixels, 10.1 inches (Approximately 149 PPI pixel density) Multitouch : Yes - TouchWiz UX UI SOUND Alert types : Vibration, MP3 ringtones Loudspeaker : Yes, with stereo speakers 3.5mm jack : Yes MEMORY Card slot : MicroSD, up to 64 GB (Official), up to 128 GB (Unofficial and 3rd Party Tested) Internal : 16 GB, 1.5 GB RAM DATA GPRS : Yes EDGE : Yes Speed : HSDPA, 42 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps; LTE, Cat4, 50 Mbps UL, 150 Mbps DL WLAN : Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot Bluetooth : v4.0, A2DP Infrared port : Yes USB : MicroUSB v2.0 CAMERA Primary : 3.15 MP, 2048 x 1536 pixels (No Flash, No Autofocus) Features : Geo-tagging Video : 720p@30fps Secondary : 1.3 MP (No Flash, No Autofocus) FEATURES OS : Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat) CPU : Quad-core 1.2 GHz Sensors : Accelerometer Messaging : SMS(threaded view), MMS, Email, Push Email, IM Browser : HTML5 Radio : No GPS : Yes, with A-GPS, GLONASS Java : Yes, via Java MIDP emulator Colors : White, Black (Reviewed Model) ADDITIONAL FEATURES - HDMI port (With Adapter) - SNS integration - MP4/H.264/H.263 player - MP3/WAV/eAAC+/Flac player - Organizer - Photo/video editor - Document viewer - Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk, Picasa - Voice memo/dial - Predictive text input BATTERY Non-removable Li-Po 6800 mAh battery Display Quality I’m quite impressed with the brightness and the colors of the display. Pictures downloaded directly from my Canon DSLR appears wonderful on the display. Colors are vivid, natural, and precise. While if I take the time to observe meticulously on video quality, I do notice some minor jags and pixels when I’m viewing higher definition videos such as HD and 4k. The maximum quality I can set for YouTube videos on this device is 720p, which is reasonably sharp for a tablet. Contrast wise, side by side comparison to my iPad with Retina Display, the black and white of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is not as dark or as white. Viewing angle for this tablet is also quite wide. However, I did face some difficulties reading the display under the glare of bright sunlight. Software Experience / Special Features / Multimedia Capabilities The experience of using the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is very much similar to the experience of using my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Buttons are placed in good strategic locations fully optimizing the screen space as well as user experience. However, I do sometimes accidentally pressed the back or the task buttons while browsing websites. Browsing and scrolling between pages is smooth. Much better than its predecessors, I believe due to faster processor as well as higher built-in memory. The OS offers a very clean User Interface, it’s easy to find and get what I needed. Personally, I did not set up a lot of widgets, as I love to keep my screen as clean as possible. The overall software experience is very similar to using other Android systems. I’m very much amazed with the audio quality of the stereo speakers located on both left and right sides of the tablet. Having a quality stereo speakers greatly enhances the multimedia experience of using this tablets such as watching Drama or YouTube videos. Camera Rear camera for this tablet is 3 megapixels while front camera is 1.3 megapixels. There is no autofocus and flash, as expected from the Tabs. Rear camera is decent under good lighting, ie outdoor or bright fluorescent lights of my living room. Image appears pixelated, grainy and lack of details, due to low megapixel. Front camera is good for simple Skype calls. Video recording is also smooth. Benchmarks / Battery Life Battery life for this tablet is amazing. It doesn’t require frequent charging even under heavy usage. I was using it to watch Korean Dramas. The 6,800 mAh battery allows me to enjoy the tablet for a pretty long time after each charge. Verdict All in all, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a solid and reliable tablet at a very affordable price. It is certainly a good choice for general usage and multimedia entertainment. Anything that goes on the Internet cannot be fully taken down. New videos, pictures, and blog posts have been sprouting in almost every corner of the Internet on this issue. In less than 24 hours, the original footage has been copied and posted over and over again and now even with parodies, remixes, hip hops, and songs creatively produced by Malaysians. #cdm25 is quickly becoming one of the top hastag on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Now that #kikikamaruddin and #cdm25 have become an Internet Meme. Let this incident be an important lesson to us that we should think before we leap, especially in public. Anyway, in Malaysia, this incident will very soon be forgotten as soon as something more interesting happens. The meme will end. Just like MH370. Dear YouTubers, Recently, with the help of InYourFaceZeph (InYourFace Music Productions), I've decided to unleash the Music part of Dan Khoo. Everyone on YouTube and friends look at Dan Khoo as a funny and jovial character, but he actually has a Damn Yeng part of him that no one knows, MUSIC. Therefore, I connected him with Xiang (Zeph) from InYourFaceZeph, a musical genius. Together, we are able to turn Dan Khoo's fantastic piano playing into a full String Quartet accompanied piece. This song is "Romantic Flight" from How to Train a Dragon. It's in both movies 1 and 2. We are also merging it with another crazy song, you'll be damn amazed. Stay tuned at http://www.youtube.com/dankhooproductions and please Subscribe to him. By the way, Dan Khoo is a genius and he is extremely humble despite his success =) Ray Mak http://www.youtube.com/inyourfacezeph (In Your Face Music Productions Channel) |
