I recently stumbled upon a very reputable piano dealer near my house known as The Piano Market while I was shopping for groceries at Village Grocers one floor below. I also found out that they have been in the industry for over 20 years specializing in refurbishing pianos and providing some of the most affordable pre-loved pianos to their customers. I quickly became friends with Mark Fernandez from The Piano Market and have been keeping in touch since.
Recently they brought in a Brand New Yamaha C6X with built-in Disklavier from Japan. It's really impressive!! The C6X is a big, concert conservatory grand piano, with rich, pleasing tones and great deep bass notes. I gave it a try and quickly fell in love.
One thing I just absolutely love about this piano as well as all other Yamaha pianos are their clear tones, nothing sounded muddled or muffled. The bottom line is, this piano gives us full control on how we want it to sound, fortissimo and intense or gentle and sweet. The C6X bass is wonderful, deep and rich. All pianists will have a great reservoir of power to tap into with this piano. The touch and feel of the C6X is absolutely great. Just like the precision and clarity found in its tone, the C6X's action is very precise and pleasing to the touch.
The Built-In Disklavier works fantastically with the high-quality Yamaha C6X grand piano, makes the C6X a complete home entertainment system. The added feature of the Disklavier means this piano can self perform and is popular among both pianists and non-pianists, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the music.
I'm not sure how The Piano Market is able to pull this off, but one of the most unbelievable thing is the price of this piano. The average price of this piano with Built-In Disklavier is around RM 270,000 across all markets, but this particular unit only goes for RM 170,000 at The Piano Market.
