Tronsmart Element T6 - 25 Watt Dual-Driver 360 Degree Surround Sound Bluetooth Speakers

My recent collaboration with my favorite brand, Tronsmart, features the Tronsmart Element T6 Wireless Speaker. This is a very powerful speaker, in terms of both Sound and pretty much unrivaled Playback Time. It is by far, a wireless speaker with the longest playback time in comparison to all the previous Bluetooth speakers I've ever owned. One of the main reasons could be because Tronsmart being one of the industry's leading battery (power banks, chargers, etc.) related manufacturers. Here are the details of this awesome speaker.

Review :

The Tronsmart Element T6 is cylindrical in shape, similar to water bottles in terms of both size and shape. This form factor also allows the sound to be dispersed to a much wider direction in comparison to typical Bluetooth Speakers, that's explains the 360 degree sound. I'm also highly impressed with the solid build quality of the Element T6, it feels sturdy and high class. Loved the rotating Volume Control too, it's solid, smooth, high quality and most importantly, user friendly. Very smart Tronsmart!

Upon closer inspection by picking up the speaker and listen to it closely. There should be around 2 Lower Mid to High Range Drivers one on each side and a Pill Shaped Bass Driver . There is also an external passive radiator at the bottom of the Element T6 which allows slightly more accurate Bass even at lower levels. This is also smart Audio Engineering put into action. Sound Quality is amazing for a Bluetooth Speaker at this price range. Comparable to my Bluetooth Speakers in the range of RM 1,000+ (USD 250). Slow relaxation music sounds good on this. Some of my relaxation music contains sounds of birds chirping and insects calling, the 360 degree was pretty effective in bringing these sounds around the room. I thought they were coming from my window. My only complain would be the volume. I would be a lot happier if it could achieve much higher volume levels. Some music, particularly piano pieces are recorded in a much lower volume to avoid distortions, cracks and pops, but playback are usually not a problem even at higher volumes.

Bluetooth Range for this speaker is about 10 meters. With my phone, I could still play it smoothly even going beyond 10 meters as my house is open concept. I've also used this speaker to Skype Call my family members in US. Sound on both sides was clear. Built-in Microphone works well. There is also an AUX In for non Bluetooth devices to be connected to this speaker too. Tested it with my old Sony Walkman. Good sound.

As for Battery Life, honestly I couldn't tell how many hours it lasted. It seem to last forever. At 5200 mAh, it's not something that we would scream about, but I believe for Tronsmart, power efficiency is their Key. I turned on some relaxing music at low volume to sleep and it lasted the entire night without any sign of low battery (Blinking Red). I blasted some dance music at loudest volume and it was still Blue without any sign of low battery even after I got fed up with too much loud music. Therefore, I could not precisely tell how many hours it will last, but it's pretty darn long. Advertised up to 15 hours of playback time. I would say around 8 to 10 hours for full volume. Almost makes me believe that this could just double as a Power Bank. Heh Heh!

Here are my likes and dislikes about the Tronsmart Element T6 :

Pros :
+ Battery Life, Playback Time. It will last pretty darn long.
+ Sound Quality - Classical, Relaxing Music, Pop, etc. Clear Highs, Mids. Bass can be improved
+ Build Quality
+ Good Range
+ Rotating Volume Control
+ Charges pretty quickly
+ Reasonable Price

Cons :
- Volume could be louder
- Passive Radiator may move the speaker a little too much if loud bass is played
- Sound Quality on Dance Music, Bass can be improved, a little muffled (But hey, this is in comparison to High Fidelity Speakers twice the price, I can't complain too much)

Overall :
In the past, I've purchased much inferior Bluetooth Speakers at this price range. This is something that you can get much higher Value in return for what you pay for. Bravissimo!
