In this article, I'll talk about my honest opinion about the Plextone G2 Wireless Gaming Earphones.
First, here are some of its features worth mentioning :
- 65ms Ultra Low Latency, one of the more stable ones in the market
- Fast Charging, 30 minutes charge time for 80% battery life
- Game 3D sound effects, providing virtual 7.1 channels sound effect using its gaming DSP chipset
- Color LED Lighting, 4 light effect modes
- HD-Voice, silicon crystal semiconductor pickup element, suitable for PUBG Mobile and other mobile games
- Lightweight design
- IPX5 water resistance
- Play-Time up to 10 hours
- iOS & Android compatible in supporting headset power display
The neckband design is quite comfortable given the fact that it's a very lightweight earphones. Comes with three different earbud sizes with an extra earbud guard for better comfort, fits pretty well. I can do some exercises with it. The band can sometimes be in the way if we are swinging around. Due to the neckband form factor, storing it is not as easy as those True Wireless Stereo in ear earbuds. But it's small enough to be put in a bag.
Usage and Battery Life
It's very straightforward and simple to use. Pairing is quick utilizing Bluetooth 5.0. Connection is stable. Buttons are simple to use. Comes with a simple instruction manual and warranty card. Also a type A to Micro USB cable is provided for charging. Charging is decently fast.
Performance and Sound Quality
For a pretty good budget, this gaming earphones is providing pretty decent quality. Bass and Mids are fine, I would love that the treble to be clearer. Bluetooth 5.0 also performed decently, I can go to a pretty far distance with it provided that our receiver is also Bluetooth 5.0. Many people's computers and phones are actually still using Bluetooth 4.1. Water Resistance works fantastic, I usually like to test my earbuds or headphones in the shower if they are claimed as Water Resistant or Water Proof. This worked well.
