I've received messages from lots of people who can learn my tutorials in split second and also from those who are having difficulties playing the piano by ear. There are two things you need to master in order to play the piano by ear.
First, you need to understand the piano, the keys of the piano, the chords, the intervals, the scales, and how they all work together. For people with basic music knowledge, this will be extremely easy. For those who are absolutely new to music, these terms are Alien Languages. But, I want you to know that it's actually very easy to learn.
Second, you need to understand your ears and your heart. You need to train yourself to first feel the emotions of the music. Then you train your ears to pick up different parts music played by different instruments in the music that you're listening to. It's not only about the bass and melody. There are much more contributions in the background that enrich the music. For instance, when you're listening to the song Beautiful from Akon, you don't only listen to the chords, the bass, the melody, but there's a background there played with a synthesizer which is part of the backbone of the song. Without it, the song's dull. Therefore, you need to practice listening.
Another thing I want you guys to know is that. I am not born with talents and I have always been emphasizing that. It's very rare that someone can be born with skills. Every baby has to take their steps. I have taken my own baby steps. Education, Books, Practice, Time, and so much more.
The two programs below will greatly help you in learning how to play by ear and ultimately FEEL THE MUSIC. I strongly recommend all of you who are reading this to get a copy as you're investing in Yourself.
I wish you All the Best and please keep me abreast of your progress.
