This was done in support for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease in the United States.


At this point in time, there is no cure for this degenerative disease and it is happening to people younger and younger. On a more serious note, please watch the video below to understand how a person with this disease degenerate so quickly and badly. From the point of diagnosis, a typical ALS patient have less than 5 years before he or she passes away.
