Mood : Emo Mood
Key : A Major + F# Minor
This is my time listening to songs from The Script. Amazing voice, amazing style. I wanted to dedicate this song to myself, but I guess it's still for you guys. It's actually not very difficult to play, but the melody for the lyrics seems slightly more complicated due to the different variations of the melody. Otherwise, everything else seems straightforward.

Introduction
The song just starts. It doesn't really have any apparent introduction.
She's all laid up in bed with a broken heart
While i'm drinking jack all alone in my local bar
And we don't know how we got into this mad situation
Only doing things out of frustration
(Here you want to move your Left Hand down from A, G#, F#, D while keeping the A. Therefore, when you're playing it, keep one finger playing A while another moving downwards. Tempo according to the music beat. Simple Right Hand according to the melody, if you can remember, I couldn't)
Trying to make it work but man these times are hard
She needs me now but I can't seem to find a time
I've git a new job now in the umemploymentline
And we don't know we got into this mess it's a gods test
Someone help us cause we're doing our best
Trying to make it work but man these times are hard
(Left Hand plays Chorded Octaves while one of your finger move down from A, G#, F# to D according to the Background Music. Right Hand plays Melody slightly Chorded)
But we're gunna start by drinking old cheap bottles of wine
Sit talking up all night
Saying things we haven't for a while, a while yeah
We're smiling but we're close to tears
Even after all these years
We just now got the feeling that we're meeting
For the first time
(Chorus!!! Mood changes here. I love this part. Left Hand move to F#, D, A, G#(E). Right Hand dances to the Melody. There are two variations here so take note of the progression)
(Bridge, woo woo woo woo. For this part, Left Hand moves from A, G#, F# to D. While Right Hand on Octaves playing C# E A B A B A B, C# E A B A B A B, C# E A B A B, C# roll down B A F# 3x)
She's in line at the door with her head held high
While I just lost my job but didn't lose my flight
But we both know how we're gonna make it work when it hurts
When you pick yourself up you get kicked in the dirt
Trying to make it work but man these times are hard
(Left Hand plays Chorded Octaves while one of your finger move down from A, G#, F# to D according to the Background Music. Right Hand plays Melody slightly Chorded)
But we're gunna start by drinking old cheap bottles of wine
Saying things we haven't for a while, a while yeah
We're smiling but we're close to tears
Even after all these years
We just now got the feeling that we're meeting
For the first time
(Chorus!!! Mood changes here. I love this part. Left Hand move to F#, D, A, G#(E). Right Hand dances to the Melody. There are two variations here so take note of the progression)

Drinking old cheap bottles of wine
Saying things we haven't for a while, a while yeah
We're smiling but we're close to tears
Even after all these years
We just now got the feeling that we're meeting
For the first time
(Mood almost silent! Then slowly build up the momentum. Same chords for Left Hand. You may freestyle here)
For the first time
Oh, for the first time
Yeah, for the first time
(Bridge, woo woo woo woo. For this part, Left Hand moves from A, G#, F# to D. While Right Hand on Octaves playing C# E A B A B A B, C# E A B A B A B, C# E A B A B, C# roll down B A F# 3x) This time with Lyrics in between.
Oh these times are hard
Yeah they're making us crazy
Don't give up on me baby
Oh these times are hard
Yeah they're making us crazy
Don't give up on me baby
(Ending part. Same chords, prepare to soften)
Oh these times are hard
Yeah they're making us crazy
Don't give up on me baby
Oh these times are hard
Yeah they're making us crazy
Don't give up on me baby
(Soft and Graceful. Same chords)
